Please refer to the  codec table below,for codecs and file types that can be played on each mediagate model.

Remember,not all files will always play 100% (there can be many reasons for this) , sometimes the file may be damaged or use a codec that is NOT compatiable with the unit.

You can check the codec used within a file using a free program called "Mediainfo" located here:

You can check to see if a file is damaged in someway by using the free utility called "Virtual Dub"

Note: Some MP4 files (Esp Those from Itunes(tm) ) have DRM encryption applied- Medigate units will not play files that have DRM encryption.
